Project Overview:

Inky is a conceptual mobile app designed to help bridge the gap between tattoo artists and clients. Currently, Instagram is one of the most popular ways for people to connect with tattoo artists. However there exists an inherent tension between artists, clients, and the platform as most artists do not want to be contacted via direct message. They instead ask clients to use external means to contact and book with them.

To help connect artists and clients I streamlined the content discovery process and created a robust messaging and booking system to consolidate the entire artist/client communication process onto one platform.

This app was designed over six weeks for my visual design for interfaces class in the Spring of 2022. A major goal of this project was to introduce a novel interaction feature.
